Overview of the 4 Main Disney ParksThe Disney property is packed full of adventures and attractions for everyone, no matter your age. There are rides and shows for kids and adults alike. Even if you stay outside in the property in a vacation home in Orlando Florida, you’ll surely want to spend most of your stay in Disney. But no matter your age or preferences, you’ll definitely want to check out the main four parks.
This is the essence of Disney, the most popular park. It’s what everyone thinks of when they think “Disney.” You’ll find Tomorrow Land, Adventure Land, Frontier Land, Liberty Square, Main Street, and Fantasy Land.
You can visit the biggest attractions, like Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, and the Jungle Cruise. Dine with Cinderella in her castle and take photos with Mickey and Minnie!
Don’t forget to check out the daily parade and fireworks, every day at dusk.
Epcot is divided into two sections. In Future World, you can learn about space, the earth, and technology. Ride Spaceship Earth, the iconic Epcot globe to learn about the history of technology. Some other great rides include Soarin’, Test Track, and Mission: SPACE.
In the World Showcase, you explore eleven countries of the world. Each country has attractions, games, shows, and food for you to try and enjoy as you walk around the pond.
Designed to give Disney goers an opportunity to experience the movies, MGM Studies offers shows, rides and attractions for all ages. It’s home to the Rockin’ Roller Coaster, the Tower of Terror, Toy Story Mania, the Great Movie Ride, the American Idol Experience, and others.
Some great shows to check out include: Lights, Motor, Action (a stunt show), Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, and of course the best show in Disney – Fantasmic, a laser/water show starring all the Disney characters.
This isn’t a regular zoo. It houses more than 250 species of animals in seven distinct sections: Africa, Asia, Discovery Island, Dinoland USA, the Oasis, Camp Minney-Mickey, and Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
You can visit the animals by walking through the trails throughout the park and then board the Kilimanjaro Safari ride, a lengthy tour through the savannah where animals can walk right up to the jeep! There are even a few thrill rides, like the Expedition Everest and Kali River Rapids.
